There is no question that Nicki Minaj is currently leading the pack in the world of female rappers right now. But with her current record sales, and her crossing-over in the pop world. Many are saying that she might need to start watching her throne, especially for newcomer rapper Azealia Banks. Her current album "Pink Friday:Roman Reloaded" was released April 2, 2012, and has managed to sale to 450,000. And so far her single "Starship" is the biggest hit off the album, selling 2 million in the United States alone. Personally I think that Nicki Minaj is one of the most talented rappers I've ever heard. The problem is that people are becoming confused with her image, and her music. There isn't a cohensive effort, she needs to regroup and go harder. Regardless of anything she has the world attention, how long she will have it is the biggest question.
